Our school is a top rated school district. We currnently meet or
exceed state standards and we are constantly changing to ensure that
our efforts and diversified education system help to continually guide
our students to a strong future; no matter where their dreams might
lead them.

Illinois Solar Schools

Cissna
Park school is a proud participant in using clean, free, green
energy. Our school currently utilizes a solar panel sysetm which
helps to provide roughly 1-3% of our schools current energy needs.

| Who Are We? |
 Cissna Park C.U.S.D. #6 is a PreK-12 Grade
public school district 90 square miles in area, all of which lies in
southern Iroquois County. The District is located 100 miles south
of Chicago and 50 miles northeast of Champaign-Urbana. The
population of the district is approximately 2000. The three areas
of population are the village of Cissna Park (850 residents), the
unincorporated village of Claytonville, and the Kellart Lake
subdivision. The primary source of employment are agriculture
production and services, and government providers (school). |
